Many loving and devoted foster parents are in need of a much deserved break. Often times foster families become burned out - not because they suddenly stopped loving children, but because their work is "never done". Long hours, sleepless nights, new and creative acting out behaviors of their children and sometimes - the kids need a break too!
You may be a friend or family member of a currently licensed foster parent, so you know how tough times may get. Or you may be considering the idea of becoming a foster parent. This may be an opportunity to get your feet wet! If you are willing to open your heart and open your home to a foster child on a short term basis.
