Martin Luther King Jr.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr's. "I have a dream," the Greeley Tribune asked students from Windsor and Johnstown to write essays. This example was one of the many that the Tribune chose to publish.. It is an honor to share this particular piece of work because the author is one of Presidio's bright and inspiring children. Congratulations Lorraine, and may your dream come true!

"All over the whole world, there have been many cases of child abuse. Moms and dads have been beating their children in different ways. Some beat their children. Others leave their children abandoned in the stores. It is my hope one day all of the parents will stop abusing their children so children can be free and happy all over the world."

-- Lorraine, fifth grade
